Communications Director
As Treatment Action Group’s communications director, Dorrit is responsible for TAG’s websites, social media, and online communications/advocacy efforts. Prior to joining TAG, Dorrit was a consultant, and for over a decade worked for the National LGBTQ Task Force. While at the Task Force, she grew, strengthened, and modernized the organization’s web presence, and also revamped their online marketing, fundraising, and advocacy materials. Before moving into nonprofit in 2006, Dorrit had two decades of experience working in print communications, creative, and web for a variety of advertising and PR agencies, and produced her first corporate website in 1997.
After college she spent most of the 80s leading in a band in NYC. A long-time Brooklyn resident, Dorrit helps take care of a small pack of rescue dogs and cats. Currently, she’s writing a novel about building a post-apocalyptic new world with a community of talking, singing, and dancing animals. Someday she hopes to own a miniature horse named Midge.
