On Friday April 24th, 2020 the ACT NOW: END AIDS (ANEA) Coalition hosted a virtual gathering for HIV/AIDS community organizations and leaders involved in “Ending the Epidemic” state, local, or community initiatives that are experiencing disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Harold Phillips, the Chief Operating Officer of the Ending the Epidemic Initiative, joined ANEA to answer questions that local jurisdictions had from a federal perspective. Other participants were Edric Figueroa, ANEA Coordinator; Jeremiah Johnson, HIV Project Director, Treatment Action Group; and Jaron Benjamin, VP, Community Mobilization & National Advocacy at Housing Works.
This webinar is just one way ANEA is keeping an “End to the HIV Epidemic” a national priority during this pandemic and the challenging times that accompany it.
