The 2021 Community HIV Cure Research Workshop will take place virtually this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, we are changing the way we usually offer this community-friendly way to learn more about HIV cure-related research.
The biggest change you will notice is that we will break of the workshop into three virtual 2-hour sessions. These sessions will be held on separate days. The workshop sessions will be held on Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5, 2021 (which is right before CROI 2021), and then on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (which is after the conference).
All sessions will start at the same time: 12pm Eastern/ 11am Central / 10am Mountain / 9am Pacific.
You can register using the links below. Join us for just one session, or for all three if you are hungry to learn as much as you can about the recent work towards a cure for HIV.
The co-hosts for all sessions will be Danielle Campbell, MPH (AIDS Treatment Activists Coalition; DARE) and Michael Louella (defeatHIV Community Engagement Project Manager).
Please see downloadable program description for additional information.
As each workshop webinar is completed, we’ll post available slide presentations in PDF format (click on the titles), along with video links to the Zoom recordings.
