On June 2, 2022, Treatment Action Group (TAG) and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hosted a Roundtable on Access to Multi-disease Molecular Diagnostics, which brought together country program representatives, donors, members of civil society, and other global health actors to:
- Identify ways to leverage the availability of new multi-disease molecular diagnostic platforms to create a more competitive market for COVID-19, HIV, TB, HBV, HCV, HPV, and STI testing;
- Identify points of consensus on evidence-based pricing and innovative models for procurement, service, and maintenance; and
- Develop a shared set of access principles that can be applied across actors and diseases in future negotiations with diagnostics suppliers.
The meeting report, presentations and Principles for Access to Multi-disease Molecular Diagnostics, developed based on discussions held during the roundtable, are available for download in the right sidebar.
