Acting HCV Project Director
Joelle Dountio Ofimboudem is the Acting HCV project director where she supports the multi-year LONGEVITY project to sensitize affected communities around long-acting injectable treatments and assist with global Hepatitis C Coalition campaigns.
Joelle is a global health lawyer with extensive research experience in intellectual property and access to medicines, and community engagement with civil society organizations across Africa. She contributed to the development of the HIV Policy Lab database at the O’Neill Institute and analyzed tobacco control and public health laws at the Pan American Health Organization. She’s also contributed to several grassroots initiatives and community workshops with the African Men for Sexual Health and Rights in South Africa. She has law degrees from Georgetown University and University of Buea in Cameroon. Joelle loves cooking and eats very spicy food.
