On June 24, TAG submitted testimony to the Senate Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies outlining funding priorities for fiscal year 2022. Through this testimony, TAG advocated for increased funding to various critical health lines including CDC’s domestic TB program, the End the HIV Epidemic initiative, and HIV research at the NIH. TAG’s testimony also highlighted the need to address ongoing health disparities and to support crucial research infrastructure in federal agencies.
