HIV prevention research continues to rapidly evolve. The availability of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has necessitated the development of new approaches to testing the efficacy of additional biomedical HIV prevention options. This handout was developed in collaboration with the Black AIDS Institute, HIV Vaccine Trials Network, and Southern AIDS Coalition. The handout provides a summary of new approaches to biomedical HIV prevention research.
