The Treatment Action Group (TAG) “Cascades: Improving TB Care” symposium was held on November 1 at the 2013 International Union World Conference on Lung Health in Paris, France. Cosponsored by TAG, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Partners In Health (PIH), the Harvard Medical School Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, and the Stop TB Partnership (STBP), it was the second in a series of symposia calling for zero TB deaths, new infections, and suffering. TAG’s TB/HIV project director, Colleen Daniels, introduced the symposium, which comprised three panels on key topic areas including: cascades for patient retention and cure; interventions and solutions; and drug supply, demand, and procurement.
