With this new webinar series, we aim to address the needs of community members through open discussions with researchers, experts, and influencers on issues related to HIV research and COVID-19. “Talk About It with TAG” will be fun and interactive, and take place on a variety of platforms.

In this first episode kickoff on March 3, 2022, , TAG’s own Abraham Johnson hosted Dr. Briana Furch, Clinical Trials Physician and Protocol Team Lead at HIV Vaccine Trials Network and COVID-10 Prevention Network, and JD Davids, health justice strategist, in conversation about the impact of Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 (otherwise known as PASC, or “Long Covid”) on people living with HIV.

By the end of the session, participants were better able to:

• Grasp emerging research on Long COVID and how it affects people with HIV
• Better understand the development pipeline of COVID-19 therapeutics
• Discuss advocacy strategies to more effectively support communities
